Positive: This magnificent property was straight out of a fairy tale. It is the most unique and quaint house we'd ever seen. To us, it was just magical sitting in the patio area with a fire for hours. There was so much thought and love put into decorating and providing what a traveller needs. If you want a quiet couple days, or a convenient jumping off point into Penedo - Geres park or even Spain this is in the perfect location. The owners were lovely...and gave us a chocolate cake and a bottle of wine when we arrived. It was the most perfect place we ever laid down our heads. It must be experienced.

Positive: This was an amazing, unique and beautiful property. Built into the rock, the inside was fascinating but the outside was amazing and beautiful. Multiple layers of patios surrounded by amazing gardens and gorgeous views. We were lucky to have good weather so we could spend a lot of time outside. It was also a great location for exploring that part of Gerês. And the hosts were very nice and provided a bottle of wine and a very yummy chocolate cake. We loved our stay there.

Negative: The bed was hard for us but we still enjoyed our time there.
